Doug Isenberg Attends WIPO Meeting for Domain Name Panelists in Geneva

Doug Isenberg attended the annual meeting of WIPO domain name panelists at the World Intellectual Property Organization in Geneva, Switzerland, on October 23, 2017.

The meeting this year attracted nearly 100 domain name panelists from 24 countries.

The meeting was led by Erik Wilbers, director of WIPO's Arbitration and Mediation Center; and Brian Beckham, head of the Internet Dispute Resolution Section.

Doug has attended every meeting of WIPO domain name panelists since at least 2005 and has written more than 200 decisions under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) and other domain name dispute policies.

GigaLaw Nominated Again for 'Best Legal Blog'

For the third consecutive year, Doug Isenberg's GigaLaw blog has been nominated in the Expert Institute's "Best Legal Blog Contest." In 2016, GigaLaw won first place in the "legal tech" category.

The contest, which originally identified thousands of nominations, narrowed the field of contestants to "the most exciting, entertaining, and informative legal blogs online today."
