Doug Isenberg attended the annual meeting of domain name panelists at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva, Switzerland, on November 6, 2023.
About 120 domain name attorneys from 31 countries attended the meeting.
The annual meeting provides an opportunity for panelists to discuss issues related to the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) and related topics. WIPO is the largest of the UDRP service providers approved by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and, according to the most recent issue of GigaLaw’s Domain Dispute Digest, is on track to handle a record number of cybersquatting cases for the tenth consecutive year.
In addition to his work with WIPO, Doug also serves as a panelist for all of the other ICANN-approved domain name dispute providers.
