The Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) has appointed attorney Doug Isenberg of GigaLaw to its domain name dispute resolution panel.
HKIAC operates as the Hong Kong office of the Asian Domain Name Dispute Resolution Centre (ADNDRC), which provides domain name dispute resolution services under the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP).
As a member of the HKIAC roster, Isenberg will be eligible for appointment as a panelist to decide UDRP cases filed with the Hong Kong office of the ADNDRC. Isenberg becomes one of only five HKIAC panelists based in the United States.
In addition to his new role as a member of the HKIAC panel, Isenberg has served for many years as a domain name dispute panelist at other ICANN-approved UDRP dispute providers, writing hundreds of decisions for cases at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the Forum (formerly the National Arbitration Form), the Czech Arbitration Court (CAC), and the Canadian International Internet Dispute Resolution Centre (CIIDRC).
Isenberg also frequently represents parties in UDRP cases and under other domain name dispute policies.
