Doug Isenberg spoke at the annual meeting of WIPO domain name panelists in Geneva on September 23, 2016. WIPO, the World Intellectual Property Organization, is an agency of the United Nations and the largest provider of domain name dispute services, including under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP).
Doug spoke on the topic of three-member panels in UDRP proceedings, which account for about 5.5 percent of all cases.
This year's meeting of WIPO domain name panelists was held at the Globe of Science and Innovation at CERN (the European Organization for Nuclear Research) in Geneva, where the World Wide Web was invented in 1989.
