Attorney Doug Isenberg of The GigaLaw Firm was recently interviewed for a segment that was broadcast on TV stations around the country, including ABC and CBS affiliates, discussing legal issues related to unauthorized copying of photographs on the Internet.
In the interview, Isenberg notes that even personal photographs on Facebook pages are protected by the law: "Anything that you or I can create, as long as it is an original work of authorship, is protected under U.S. copyright law... It can include photographs, video, audio."
