Block Says Former Employee Downloaded Reports from Cash App

Block Inc. said a former employee downloaded reports from the payments company’s Cash App without Block’s permission that contained information from some U.S. customers. Block, formerly called Square Inc., said the reports included full names and brokerage-account numbers used in its Cash App Investing offering.
