A Canadian appeals court upheld injunctions mandating that Google remove certain pirate sites from its search engine on a worldwide basis. The ruling will certainly be cheered by the entertainment industry, which has given Google's links ample attention over the years, but struggled through the failure of the Stop Online Piracy Act.
