U.S.-China Cyber Working Group Launches

The first meeting of a U.S.-China cybersecurity group in Washington came amid accusations that the Chinese government is responsible for hacking American companies and disclosures that the U.S. conducts broad international spying operations. The U.S.-China cyber working group allows civilian and military officials from both nations to discuss international rules for cyberspace, raise concerns and set the tone for future bilateral talks, said a State Department official who wasn’t authorized to speak on the record.
