British Media Regulator Fines Playboy £100,000

Playboy has been fined £100,000 by Ofcom for showing sexually explicit videos on its UK websites without having “acceptable controls” to check that users were aged 18 or over. The media regulator said the adult entertainment group’s failure to protect children from accessing its sites Playboy TV and Demand Adult was “serious, repeated and reckless.”
