Man Gets Almost 4 Years for Illegal Software Sales

Under a new federal statute that criminalizes trafficking in illicit labels, Justin E. Harrison, 26, of Oxford, Ga., was sentenced to federal prison for three years and 10 months and fined $25,000. U.S. District Judge Orinda D. Evans sentenced Harrison on charges of trafficking in illicit certificates of authenticity intended to accompany copyrighted computer software.
