Judge Upholds Conviction in Sadomasochism Site Case

A federal judge in Brooklyn has upheld a "novel application" of forced labor and sex trafficking statutes that resulted in the conviction of a man who repeatedly abused a woman and published photos of her on his sadomasochism Web site. In a motion to set aside the conviction, defense attorneys argued that Glenn Marcus' conduct, while offensive to most people, was part of a domestic relationship. Marcus could face up to 30 years in prison.
