An appeals court overturned the conviction against a Swedish man for online piracy in sharing files illegally on the Internet. Andreas Bawer, 29, had been the first Swede to be convicted of online piracy charges when a court found him guilty in 2005 of breaking Sweden's copyright laws by distributing a movie through a file-sharing network.
