Ten Swedish IT companies whose servers were confiscated in a police crackdown on a prominent file-sharing Web site are now asking the government for damages for loss of business, a Stockholm-based rights watchdog group said. Police raided the Web hosting company PRQ on May 31, in a crackdown on illegal file swapping that temporarily shut down The Pirate Bay Web site, but they also confiscated about 200 servers belonging to companies not affiliated with the file-sharing site, the nonprofit organization Center for Justice said.
