Man Pleads Guilty in One of Largest Software Piracy Cases

Danny Ferrer, a 37-year-old software piracy Internet operator from Lakeland, Fla., pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy and one count of criminal copyright infringement for selling pirated software. According to U.S. Assistant Attorney General Alice Fisher, Ferrer was "one of the largest commercial online distributors of pirated software in the United States."
